Our health professionals answered parents’ questions about their children’s health. Anxiety, back-to-school preparation, and dyslexia were the topics addressed in our first three bilingual events, live on Facebook. 

 

 

These events were organized in collaboration with the Montreal Children’s Hospital, Dyslexia Canada, and La Liberté magazine.

Dyslexia: What Can I Do to Support My Child?

During this online event, Joanne Bertrand, Certified Dyslexia Therapist and Vice-President of the International Dyslexia Association of Ontario, gives practical advice to parents to help them in the day-to-day management of their child’s dyslexia.

Back to School: How Do I Support My Child?

Dr. Connie Scuccimarri, pediatric psychologist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, answers parents’ questions during this free live online event. With information given, you’ll benefit from concrete solutions to support your child during the first weeks of the new school year, as well as throughout the school year.

Stress and Anxiety: How Can I Help My Kid?

This video is only available in French. Dr. Nadia Gagnier, psychologist and child anxiety specialist, explains how to recognize the signs of anxiety, what triggers it, and gives you useful resources to help your child.
